Montserrat: A Night of Bossa in NYC

Montserrat is a Spanish born singer who started her career interpreting the folk sounds of Spain and Boleros. Her journey in music has taken her all over the world but her biggest and latest success has been with the music and people of South America particularly Brazil. In her new album she does not let go of her roots entirely but embraces Bossa Nova and gives it a new swing with her silky voice. Montserrat is bridging the latin culture and doing something new with old gems and traditions. In many ways, her voice is a rainbow of the countries of South America and Spain. The singer its not just a singer on stage but a multi-dimensional performer whose rhythmic blood and Flamenco background come through in her movements. Montserrat will be in 45 Bleecker in three different occasions: November 7, 8 and 13Th. Please visit our website for specific times and ticket purchase www.45bleecker.com These NYC performances are in light of her new and highly anticipated album that now more than ever put Bossa Nova first. Montserrat will be serenading us for an hour and a half. Singer Glenda Pezuela and guitar player Yana Davydova will open the show with similar style music.
