Painting the Picture
The medley of fine shows this week at 45 Bleecker was an exciting continuation of the high quality presentations at our theater. Let us commence this post with P.I.N.C.H Squad 70’s Cop Show Burlesque. That is right, burlesque. Sexy has never been so funny, well at least to me. Although I can say with confidence that people around me were enjoying the sensual, witty, raw and retro performance quite a lot. Thankfully, the Squad will be back in September to enrich our lives, with their hot 70’s fashion that does not stay on too long.
While the retro Squad easily awakened my naughty senses’ through their incredibly fun performance, so were my thoughtful and romantic senses, when through my ears came in the very individual and masterful piano playing of Iconoclast Ran Blake. It was an early night in the theater and the celebration of love brought together Ran Blake and friends. The intimate yet open affair that went by the name of La Copa was a profound delight of rich music which became part of the varied culture that exists in 45 Bleecker.

In The Theater
I am at the 45 Bleecker Street Theater. You may ask... Well... How did you get there? And well other than the literal answer that I did so by some form of public transportation there is also a detailed, fun and profound story full of serendipity and mystical colors that infuse life with curiosity and mystery. Well, that explains that, right? It probably does not. However, since this a blog this story will evolve. The characters and performances that are still behind these words that act as curtains, will appear, bare and updated for all the 45 Bleecker fans to follow.
